THE WEEK AHEAD: 3/7/17 TO 9/7/17

bobs-photos-wrg-camp-176Tuesday, 4th July: Work party meets at Brownsters cafe, High Street, Clydach between 8.00 and 9.00am. Work starts at 9.15 am three hundred yards north of Upper Trebanos Lock wher we continue to repair washholes and reinforce flood defences. This is work that will enable the volunteers of the Waterways Recovery Group who are working with us from the 9th of July to the 14th of July to complete the stone walls and coping stones for an attractive finish to the project.

Sunday 9th July: Canoes and Kayaks for hire from the canoe store Coed Gwilym Park, Clydach.  First hire, 10.30am, last hire 2.30pm. Canadian three seater canoes, £7; double sit-on-top kayaks, £5; single sit-on-top kayaks, £4. Full terms and conditions are under ‘Canoe Hire’ on the website.

wrg-trebanos-23-07-14-19Sunday 9th July: The Waterways Recovery Group first day of working  at Upper Trebanos Lock and at the wash holes three hundred yards further north.  The volunters will be staying at the Ynyscedwyn Scout Hut for their week’s stay. We are delighted to have them back with us.
