TUESDAY 7TH NOVEMBER: Work Party meets at Brownsters Cafe, High Street, Clydach between 8.00am and 9.00am. Work starts at two sites at 9.15am.
1. Clydach Lock: Finish bulb planting. Point between sleepers and top coping stones. Clear leaves clogging lock entrances (photo above).
2. Old Highways Depot: Dig holes, fill with cement, and erect new delivery of HERAS fencing. Continue pointing retaining wall. Add extra courses to bottom end of wall.
THURSDAY 9th NOVEMBER: approx 3.00pm: Visit by Richard Parry, CEO of the Canal and River Trust, to the Swansea Canal.
