THE WEEK AHEAD: 7TH DEC. TO 13TH DEC.

Tuesday 9th December: Work Party meets at Browsters Cafe High Street Clydach at 8.15 for breakfast and jollity. We will be joined at 9.15 at the BW depot, 28 Hebron Road by members of the White Rock Society who are working with us. Work commences at 9.30 about one hundred yards from the Clydach Lock on the off side. We are very close to finishing this section. If CRT carry out dredging of this section next year we will have a quarter mile section to be proud of.

Wednesday 10th December: Gordon Andy and myself will be meeting Nigel at Wyevale Garden Centre to finalise the agenda and presentation of our meeting with Suzy Davies, AM and Shadow Minister at Forge Fach Resource Centre, Clydach.

Thursday 11th December: Meeting with Suzy Davies, Shadow Heritage Minister at 10.00am in Forge Fach Resource Centre, Hebron Road, Clydach to discuss the route of the new Swansea Canal from Clydach Aqueduct to Swansea Bay via the Fendrod and Tawe rivers. Starts at 10.00am in the committee room.
