THE WEEK AHEAD; 8TH 0CTOBER TO 14TH OCTOBER 2017
Tuesday 10th October: Work parties meet at Brownsters Cafe, High Street, Clydach between 8.00 and 9.00am. Work starts at two sites at 9.30am.
1. Clydach Lock: Backfill behind the sleepers, bolt in the sleepers to timbers. Photo above left shows the sleepers in position above the reinstated coping stones. (Taken at tea break hence all the tools artistically left. Honest, I did not arrange them)!
2. Old Highways Depot: HERAS security fencing to be completed (about 6 to go, plus gates). Photos: Centre: Gareth digging himself into a hole while above him John Bryn, Gordon and Huw continue to discuss how to make a hole. Right: John’s ferociouis labradoodle, Percy,is unleashed to see off the photographer.
