THE WEEK AHEAD: MONDAY 1.8.16 TO SUNDAY 7.8.16

TUESDAY 2ND: Work Party meets between 8.00 and 9.00am at Brownsters Cafe. Work starts at 9.15 at Coed Gwilym Park where, God willing, the coping stones have at last arrived for the tow path edge. If the stones have not arrived, we will continue with roof repairs to the canoe store and more dredging of the canal.

TUESDAY 2ND: Canoes and kayaks for hire from Coed Gwilym Park from 10.00am to 2.00pm. Canoes £7.00, kayaks, £5 and £4. Full terms and conditions under Canoe Hire on the SCS website.

WEDNESDAY 3RD: AGM of the Swansea Canal Society at the Vardre Rugby Club, Hebron Road, Clydach at 7.30pm. Followed by regular SCS monthly meeting.

SUNDAY 7th AUGUST: Canoes for hire from 11.00am to 3.15pm at Coed Gwilym Park. Last hire 2.30pm.  Prices terms and conditions as for Tuesday, shown above.
