Sunday 12th April: Canoes & Kayaks for hire at Coed Gwilym Park, Clydach. First hire 10am, last boat out at 2pm so please arrive no later than 1.45pm. Cost of one hour hire: Canadian canoe £12; Raft (two canoes) £20; Single kayak £6, Double kayak £12. Booking not needed. Full details and conditions under “Canoes” on our website.

Tuesday 14th April: Work Party: Those wishing to eat breakfast should meet at the Roadhouse Cafe in Clydach at 8am.
***** CHANGE OF PLAN ***** Volunteers should assemble at 9am at the Canal Centre in Clydach where you can choose between three tasks: (1) Remain at the Centre to lay more concrete bases, (2) Go to the Buried Lock site to continue with planting or (3) Go to Coed Gwilym Park to remove a fallen tree from the canal.

Tuesday 14th April: Trustees Meeting of the Swansea Canal Society at the Swansea Canal Centre, Clydach at 7pm. All welcome.
