Canoe and kayak hire is currently up and running

Sunday 16^th August: Canoes & Kayaks for hire at Coed Gwilym Park, Clydach. First hire 10am, last boat out at 2pm so please arrive no later than 1.45pm. Cost of one hour hire: Canadian canoe £12; Raft (two canoes) £20; Single kayak £6, Double kayak £12. Booking not needed. Full details and conditions under “Canoes” on our website.

Tuesday 18^th August: Work Party: Those wishing to eat breakfast should meet at the Roadhouse Cafe in Clydach at 8am. Volunteers should meet at 9am at the Buried Lock site in Clydach. Work will continue there on the dividing wall. Vegetation around the Mond Lock will be cleared.

Thursday 20th August: ***** CHANGE OF DATE ***** Trustees Meeting of the Swansea Canal Society at the Swansea Canal Centre, Clydach at 5pm. All welcome.

Friday 21^st August: Canoes & Kayaks for hire at Coed Gwilym Park, Clydach. This will be a “Free Friday” for residents of Swansea aged 4 – 19 years. First hire 10am, last hire noon.
