The Week Ahead: Sunday 22nd – Saturday 28th September 2024

Sunday 22nd September: Canoes & Kayaks for hire at Coed Gwilym Park, Clydach. First hire 10am, last hire 2pm. Cost of 45 minute hire: Canadian canoe £10; Raft (two canoes) £15; Single kayak £5, Double kayak £10. Booking not needed. Full details and conditions under “Canoes” on our website.

Tuesday 24th September: Work Party: Those wishing to eat breakfast should meet at the Roadhouse Cafe in Clydach at 8am. Volunteers should assemble at 9am at the Swansea Canal Centre in Hebron Road. One group will drag weed from the canal by Pont John. A second group will clean and paint the railings at the Clydach Mond lock in preparation for the installation of the horse sculpture.

Saturday 28th September: History Fair at the National Waterfront Musuem, 10am – 4pm.

Sunday 29th September: Book Fair at the National Waterfront Musuem, 10am – 4pm.
