Video Competition – Our Teams Create Their Films

Video Competition – Our Teams Create Their Films

December was a very busy month for our 225 preparations, mainly around the Schools Video Project.

Along with Eliza from CRT and Tina from Muddy Publishing, John, Gill and Sharon made several visits to our partner schools in December. Initially 4 half day visits took place to plan the stories, decide what format the videos were going to use and write scripts. The children took the lead in these discussions, with some guidance from us and the teachers. We were all impressed with the creativity and enthusiasm of the children. We returned to each of the schools to carry out the filming and recording of singing, voice overs etc. Now the work is over to the editor, Tina, and we cannot wait to see the final results. We would like to thank the teachers and pupils of Ysgol y Cribath, Abercrave, Ysgol Gynradd Trebannws, St Joseph’s Catholic Primary school and Morriston Primary School for taking part so wholeheartedly in the project. The videos will form part of our exhibition in the National Waterfront Museum from April to September 2023. Work on the rest of the exhibition is also moving ahead at pace now.
