WATERWAY RECOVERY GROUP AT YNYSMEUDWY LOCK: (2)
WORKING TO CLEAR THE BYWASH.
MANY STONES HAVE COLLAPSED INTO THE BYWASH AND THEY NEEDED TO BE RELAID OR REPLACED. THE BYWASH WAS KEPT DRY WHILE THE VOLUNTEERS WORKED IN IT BY DIVERTING ALL THE WATER THROUGH THE MAIN LOCK CHAMBER.
