Waterway Recovery Group, August 2025
|
The Waterway Recovery Group has been busy all week lining the by-wash in the Buried Lock. Lots of hard work in between heavy showers but now time for relaxation. The Society treated the workers to a delicious evening meal at The Miller’s Arms in Ynystawe. |

Alan thanked them for all they had achieved, despite the adverse weather and team leader, Evo, replied by saying how much they had enjoyed themselves and thanked us for treating them so well. The WRG is a magnificent group of volunteers that travel far and wide throughout the UK working to restore and maintain canals. We hope that they will be back with us very soon. |
