Waterway Recovery Group Visit from Dave Worthington.

ALIGNING COPING STONE WITH ACRO ADJUSTEMENT. DAY THREE.

Waterway Recovery Group Visit from Dave Worthington.

We were delighted to meet Dave Worthington once again. Dave was the leader of last year’s WRG summer camp and work site at Upper Trebanos Lock. He came to inspect the same site for this year’s camp which will run from August 4th to the 11th. We will be also allocating the Tuesday of that week to clearing vegetation at the  Ynysmeudwy Locks, so Michelle took Dave up to the locks to see the new site for himself.

The WRG volunteers come from all over the UK and some from abroad. They will be staying at the Ynyscedwyn Scout Hut which has been used very successfully for the past four years.  Photos below of last year’s excellent hard working volunteers.
