Welcome to the Volunteers of the Waterway Recovery Group
From all over the UK 30 volunteers are making their way by car, train and coach to Ynyscedwyn today. The Swansea Canal Society and the Canal and River Trust welcome them all to the lovely lower Swansea Valley. They will be staying at the Ynyscedwyn Scout Hut for two weeks.
The Waterways Recovery Group help to restore canals all over Britain and for the next two weeks the volunteers will be doing just that on the lower and upper Trebanos Locks of the Swansea Canal
We thank them for their commitment and time. We hope that they will enjoy their stay and leave with happy memories.
Diolch yn fawr iawn yn wir.
