GATE-BEFORE-PAINTING

WORK PART AT YNYSMUEDWY LOCKS 6.2.18.

THIS WAS OUR SECOND WEEK AT YNYSWMEUDWY. SNOW IS FALLING, CHILDREN PLAYING….NO THAT’S SHAKIN’ STEVENS.   IT DEFINITELY SNOWED AND THOSE YOUNG AT HEART, AT LEAST, WERE WORKING. WE PAINTED THE FIVE BAR GATE LEADING TO THE CANAL BRIDGE, GOT RID OF THE VEGETATION THREATENING TO ENGULF THE LENGTHSMANS HUT BY LOWER YNYSMEUDWY LOCK AND EVEN PLANTED SOME LEFT OVER DAFFODIL BULBS WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE BEEN A GOOD IDEA  AS WE ARE IN EARLY FEB. ONLY TIME WILL TELL.

GATE BEFORE PAINTING                     GATE BEING TREATEDGATE, before, during and after.                                                                      AND DAFFS BEING PLANTED.                                image5

SNOW (IT IS, BELIEVE ME) ON THE GATE.
