With Gordon on board the good ship ‘Nellie’, and willing hands with grappling irons to support him on shore, we tackled a fallen tree (above left) north of Holly Street bridge, Pontardawe. By the time coffee break was called, we had reduced it to a few floating twigs (above right). These were removed post coffee and cake but I fear I was elsewhere by then……..

….capturing the litter booty that had been recovered from the winding hole area and,here, being bagged by John.
