Andy and Sue Ellis are our latest recruits and they joined us at Trebanos Locks where we continued to widen the channel above and below the lock.

Between the locks the willow hurdles that we planted to protect the bank last autumn have now rooted and provide a living barrier to the encroaching vegetation.
The boys from Whithorns Day Care Centre made their regular visit and trimmed the grass verges for us.

Further south in the canoe section a large alder fell on Monday night (luckily not on a Sunday afternoon!). It has been reported to Glandwr Cymru and will be removed as soon as possible.
