Work Party: Tuesday 10th March 2026

Today was all about the by-wash. Once Gordon had roused himself from his slumbers and delivered the necessary tools and mixer the volunteers were able to crack on. |

|
But first, Christina, Jan and Andy started on the arduous task of reclaiming the grassy bank from the grip of bramble, buddleia and weed. |

Lining the by-wash fell into a well-practised routine. Lance mixed, Phil delivered, John Gw & Andy fetched the stones and everyone else concreted them in place. Diane had not laid a single brick before today but soon got the hang of it under Gordon’s expert tuition. |
