Work Party: Tuesday 13th February 2024

Oh dear – a very wet morning at Ynysmeudwy. The rain fell hard and constant but the gang was soon hard at work. The major task was to clear fly tipping – a huge pile of fencing, conifer branches and assorted rubbish. Chris did a grand job revealing the information panel. The last photo shows a job well done.

Gareth removed the overgrowth on the sleepers. Andy and others joined him later.

Gordon cut down a dead tree that the rest of the vols dragged to one side.

Tea was taken in the relative shelter of Bridge 9. Mercifully, nobody toppled into the cut! Compliments to Ronnie for the sweet and savoury treats.

The rain was so bad that we decided to draw stumps after tea. We managed to achieve a lot but it was too wet to carry on.
