Work Party: Tuesday 16th December 2025

Carrying on from last week’s abortive attempt, the volunteers returned to the Buried Lock where the cool but dry weather allowed them to have a massive tidy-up. Not many photos as we all were working so hard, but the skip was filled to overflowing in no time at all.

Meanwhile, Alan fixed in place the information panel for the community garden at the Canal Centre.

Time for tea. This week’s baker was Andy. It was a split decision between the mandarin orange upside down cake and the mincemeat slice!

We decided to knock off early after tea. And so the 2025 volunteering season comes to a close. Massive thanks are due to all the volunteers.
