Work Party: Tuesday 23rd January 2024

After speaking with Gordon, Alan called off the work-party due to the very poor weather (heavy rain and increasingly blustery winds).

Whilst we often brave the rain, he was very concerned that the many big trees alongside the towpath at Ynysmeudwy might have been weakened by Storm Isha over the weekend, and could pose a very real danger to our vols as Storm Jocelyn gathered pace through Tuesday morning.

It’s not often that we cancel our outdoor work parties, but sometimes discretion is the better part of valour!
