Work Party: Tuesday 26th May 2026

Phew, what a scorcher! With the mercury hovering around 30°C we took to the relative shade offered by the trees at the Ynysmeudwy Locks, after some of us actually managed to find the locks, that is.

We restricted ourselves to a little balsam-bashing. Unfortunately there are very few photos because by the time your favourite reporter emerged from the jungle, everyone had cleared off for tea!

Tea was taken on the bridge. Christina was our baker du jour. Her selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes were all so tasty.

After a cuppa, some grub and a chat we decided it was far too hot to continue so we all went home.
