“225 in 2023” Memories of the Canal

“225 in 2023” Memories of the Canal

The 225 committee was busy this Sunday filming alongside the canal.

Our thanks are due to Gary and Lyndsay for sharing their memories of the canal with us and allowing us to record them for our exhibition in the National Waterfront Museum from April.

Lyndsay remembers the canal in Cwmgiedd before it was filled in and the birds that lived on the canal there, including swans. She kindly shared this photo of a hand-painted plate of the bridge which is sadly no longer there.
