Bryan Moss Remembered

We were very sorry to hear of the death of Bryan Moss on the 28th of March 2023 at the age of 74. Bryan contributed to the Swansea Canal Society both as an artist and as a draughtsman over the last decade. He produced detailed plans, artist’s impressions of future building projects, designed Christmas cards and painted many pictures of the canal. He was a gifted artist and as can be seen in these examples of his work.

He attended work parties irregularly and he can be seen on our home page on the photo accompanying the ‘Become a Member’ entry. He is in the red bobble hat in the foreground. The second photo was taken as he walked along the canal with his brother.

A Humanist Memorial Service was held for him at the Vivian Community Hall, Blackpill on the 22nd of April 2023. Liz and Martin attended together with around fifty of his family and friends to celebrate his life. He was a kind, gentle man and will be sorely missed.
