Monday Morning Gets Sleeper Pointing Done.
The Leaves of Brown Come Tumbling Down…. September, October and November.
Taking advantage of the cold, dry weather Rhodri and Gordon hacked their way through the leaf mould and completed the pointing between the new sleepers and the top course of coping stones on the off-side of the Clydach Lock Chamber. We will be back there tomorrow to start pointing the towpath side.
A big thank you to both of them.
Altogether now. “The falling leaves drift by my window
The falling leaves of red and gold…..”
Lyrics by Jacques Prévert (1900- 1977). Music by…..have a guess.
A big thank you to both of them too.
