Old Highways Depot Towpath Open: 2.1.18.
The new 120 metre towpath/cycle route through the Old Highways Depot in Pontardawe Road, Clydach is now open, though the official opening ceremony will take place later this year. Below, is a photo of what the route looked like in June 2017.
And here is the further progress made by July 2017.
And now we are in November 2017.
Finally, the last rivet is added to the heras site security fencing by Gordon on 2.1.18.
A remarkable achievement in such a short time by the local community, our volunteers, the subcontractors and all the workmen and workwomen involved. Thank you.
