The Week Ahead: Sunday 26th May – Saturday 1st June 2024

Sunday 26th May: Canoes & Kayaks for hire at Coed Gwilym Park, Clydach. First hire 10am, last hire 2pm. Cost of 45 minute hire: Canadian canoe £10; Raft (two canoes) £15; Single kayak £5, Double kayak £10. Booking not needed. Full details and conditions under “Canoes” on our website.

Tuesday 28th May: Work Party: Those wishing to eat breakfast should meet at the Roadhouse Cafe in Clydach at 8am. Volunteers should assemble at 9am at either the Riverside Resource Centre where we will be reinforcing more of the wash holes, clearing the towpath upstream of Bridge 8 and, weather permitting, pointing the bridge or at Pontardawe where we will continue to paint the railings by the aqueduct.

Saturday 1st June: NPT Culture and Heritage: Information and Volunteer Fair, Victoria Gardens, Neath, 11am – 3pm. Come along and find out more about culture and heritage volunteering opportunities in NPT. Please help out by manning the SCS stall for an hour or two [email Andy if you can].
