Water Levels
The current level of the the canal is very low. This is despite the Canal and River Trust having the Ystradgynlais sluice as open as possible to allow as much water to enter the canal as possible. Hopefully there will be an increase in the levels before the wildlife is adversely affected. The electric boats cannot be used at the moment and the other shallower craft may also have a problem.
